MORE NOSTALGIA
Good morning!
While on leave from the service in the summer of 1970, I had a chance to
visit the park after it had closed. I took a number of photos, and just
recently found some of the slides, and immediately thought of your
organization and thought that you might be interested.
Somewhere I have more, and am currently on a hunt for them. They are all
of the park as it was being dismantled, showing weeds and neglect. Are you
interested in them if I find them?
I currently live in Rome, Ohio and grew up in the Lake county area. At 51
years old, I, also have many fond memories of the park.
Time to quit babbling.....
