BEFORE "NOW" WE WERE "NUTS"

2010 the 100th Anniversary of Euclid Beach Park's, Philadelphia Toboggan Company (PTC) Carrousel. PTC carved the consecutive number of each carousel it manufactured, the Euclid Beach merry-go-round carried #19 carved into its center pole. This new carousel carved and installed by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company (PTC) would replace another PTC merry-go-round which carried the #9 in its center pole. #9 was created in 1905. #19 is larger, more grand with four rows of horses, three inside rows of "jumpers" and an outside row of nearly life size stationary horses.

June 30, 2010 Western Reserve Historical Society announces a collaborative effort with area groups and individuals to establish the historic Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel within the walls of its Cleveland museum where it will be available to the public to see, ride and enjoy as soon as 2013.
